The Associate IT Project Analyst is a developing professional role. This role identifies policy and applies specialty knowledge in monitoring and assessing processes and data. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.
Responsibilities:
- Compiles project plans, project task lists, and tracking reports for assigned technology area.
- Participates in execution/implementation activities related to project communication, documentation, and reporting.
- Contributes to analysis activities for assigned projects, assists with internal/external audits, and gathers data/information to support recommendations related to project timelines and auditing activities.
- Participates in project analysis activities by identifying inconsistencies in data or results and escalates complex issues to higher levels.
- Utilizes knowledge of IT project leadership procedures and concepts, combined with basic knowledge of other technical areas.
- Applies good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
- Assesses the applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluates options under circumstances not covered by procedures.
- Has limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided.
- Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.
- Exchanges ideas and information in a concise and logical manner.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years experience in an IT project leadership role (combination of education/experience).
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

This is a position withing a newly formed Loan Operations Tech Transformation organization, with job duties focused on End User Testing for newly developed system functionality for Lending Operations. Candidate will be responsible for understanding Lending Operations processes and applying the knowledge to system functional features, ability to assess testing needs for new enhancements, document required test scenarios and scripts, as well as assess minimal regression testing requirements, execute testing and coordinate on hand off to Operations Readiness process.
